So Long 2011…Welcome 2012!

At the end of each year, I pick a one word theme for the upcoming year.  The theme I had picked for 2011  — “Simplify”.

Like many of you, I worked my way through a shift in mindset to adjust to a new reality in 2011.  Tweaks were made to my business and life plan that aligned with my desire to simplify.  As the year progressed, I followed through on many of those tweaks; while still others require greater modification and will carry over into 2012.

Along the way there were a few unexpected hiccups that made me stop dead in my tracks and recalibrate. When all was said and done though, there were more cartwheels than cursing.

I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished in 2011, and ever so grateful for the “angels” who responded to my pleas for help and miraculously appeared to support me when I needed it most (you know who you are).  I’m ready to enter 2012 with optimism, a clear direction, gratitude, and a renewed zest for life.

My plan for 2012 will no doubt go through a few adjustments.  I will have to battle some nasty mental gremlins from time to time.  I’ll need to remind myself to celebrate each and every accomplishment no matter how small in order to keep my motivation high; and to ask for help when I need it.

But I know that I am up to the task and will succeed.   For I believe in me.  No one else will if I don’t.

Theme for 2012?…“Simplify, Part Deux”.

Happy New Year!

    Sue,
A new year is a new opportunity and although I don’t know what stopped you dead in your tracks last year, I do know that I would help you at any time. You have been one of the wonderful people I’ve met since starting Personal Office Management, Inc. and I am excited to share that we are celebrating our two year anniversary today!
I’m looking forward to more of your posts, a new year with great health and great personal and business relationships for both of us and success in business and life !
